- How and when did you first begin working at Sutherland?
I began working for Sutherland in March 2004. My previous background was in software and telecom sales and support, and I had experience with a specific program, so I started on that program’s lead generation program.
- What drives and motivates you to give your best each day?
My biggest motivation is to provide for my family. My wife and I have four wonderful children and they are the center of our world.
- What are your top three most important accomplishments here at Sutherland?
My top three accomplishments are seeing leads that I have generated lead to some notable logo wins, being awarded the Circle of Excellence Award and a Platinum Award, and being consistent and delivering on the goals and metrics assigned to me.
- Have you held multiple positions at Sutherland? If so, how did you get from where you started, to where you are now?
I’ve held three different positions at Sutherland. I was a Senior Relationship Manager and Team Lead on a specific program. I was a Sale Representative on another program, and am now a Business Development Manager in the BFS vertical for eDemand and new logo sales.
- What is your favorite thing about working at Sutherland?
Sutherland provides a true variety of industries or verticals to work in, and provides employees with a great amount of experience whether you’re into sales, technology, marketing or something creative like web design or social media. We are truly the company behind the scenes of so many successful companies.
- Do you think there is growth potential for people who want to advance their career at Sutherland?
Absolutely there is growth potential. Sutherland provides opportunities for employees to advance their careers, and gain valuable training and skill sets that come from working with the some of the biggest companies in the world.
- What would be your advice to someone wanting to work at Sutherland?
Be prepared to work hard and treated well, as Sutherland takes care of its family.

I graduated from the University of the West Indies Mona Campus with a B.A in Language Communication and Society. I love anywhere with water and can’t swim to save my life, but it doesn’t stop me from jumping in (life jacket and all). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and having chill moments that help me to unwind and enjoy the simply things in life. When I’m not working, I enjoy planning trips with my friends across the country to see rivers, falls or the beach, having a barbecue cook out, or catching a movie on the big screen. I also enjoy singing and karaoke events. My motivation in life is my family, as they have played a major role in molding me into the young woman I am today.
