A typical day at work can be very stressful and things can get really confusing. Uuuuugh! Not a very good feeling is it? Smile – Another great stress reliever? A good laugh! Having at least one friend at work that makes you smile or even better, laugh, can make a world of difference. Finding the fun in your work day and enjoying your team members can make a big project feel far less overwhelming
One Step at a Time – A lot on your plate? Attack it one piece at a time and once that is finished, move onto the next step. Looking at a big list can create a lot of stress so prioritize and put all your efforts towards one “to do” and when it’s complete, that feeling of accomplishment will give you the energy and motivation to tackle the next task…and the next one after that!
Ask for Help – You’ve got team members and leaders for a reason. Ask for help if you need it! Team work and support from leadership can lessen the amount of stress that is on one person. If the workload is shared and things get done faster, everyone wins! Sometimes even a conversation to discuss the project and outline the steps can make a huge difference so always raise your hand if you need a little support. Team work makes the dream work!
Get organized – What better way to lessen stress than to organize your work! You’re overwhelmed, you’ve got lists and projects all over the place, you don’t even know where to start your day.
