Sutherland is known for opening doors and starting careers. One initiative that has contributed tremendously to this is our outstanding REFER program. Through this program, employees are afforded the opportunity to refer family and friends who they deem capable of contributing to our dynamic team environment. Highlighted here is one of our REFER champions who has submitted the MOST eligible referrals.

  1. How and when did you come to Sutherland?

I moved to Las Vegas a little over a year ago, and when I arrived, my first real job was here at Sutherland. I joined the company on May 16 and I’ve been here ever since.

  1.  How did you react when you found out you were a top referrer?

I was shocked to find out I was a top referrer. I thought to myself, “are you sure you have the right person?” I am very happy to be recognized as a top referrer.

  1.  What qualities do you look for when identifying people to REFER?

When I refer someone, I feel as though they are representing me, so I make sure the referral is driven, self-motivated, responsible, dependable, and an over-achiever.

  1.  How do you ensure that your referrals complete their applications?

First and foremost, I attempt to only refer people who are serious about the position they are applying for. I do like to check on my referrals for any questions or concerns they may have, in order to make the process as smooth as possible.

  1.  So far in your career at Sutherland, what are your top most important accomplishments?

One of my top accomplishments is completing my first year at Sutherland. Being here at Sutherland, I have met the most wonderful people and made many friends. I also feel ecstatic I have learned the systems front to back after so much repetition.

  1.  What do you enjoy most about working at Sutherland?

I enjoy the people I’ve met here the most.
