- What do you like most about your new title?
That it gives me the time to help my colleagues get better with what they are doing and the opportunity to learn from them on a one-on-one basis.
- What would be your personal opinion on the difference between living and existing?
Existing is something that anyone can do, at least for a while, before their failure to actually live and excel at life drags them down to the “existed” level.
To live on the other hand, is to go above and beyond the point of just waking up, eating, sleeping, and repeating. To live is to accomplish something extra, to advance and develop. If you only exist, you are just doing the bottom line requirement.
- What changes do you feel like you can implement in your new role?
I plan to push my team to be the “go-to people” when it comes to questions about our least understood products before it has to go to the next tier or management.
- What are your habits or daily routines that helps you to recharge on a working day?
Arriving early, getting ready and organized for the day. Reminding myself that if I don’t do it, I can’t trust anyone else to pick up my slack and take care of it. “If you want something done right you have to do it yourself.”
- What do you see in your future here at Sutherland?
My plan is to do whatever is needed/take whatever role is necessary to help my team excel here at Sutherland.
