Spotlighted here is one of our superstars who has utilized these opportunities to further their career at Sutherland!

  1. What habits or daily routines help you to recharge on a work day?

Each day I recharge the same way. The first thing that I do in the morning in look at my beautiful children as I drop them off. The second thing I do is look at my brother’s picture who has left us far too soon. The last thing I do is play Meek Mills Dreams and Nightmares on my way to work to get me hyped up and excited to start my day.

  1. What do you see in your future here at Sutherland?

In the Future I see myself being even further ahead in the company chain. I have a high level of confidence and I know that I am able to accomplish the goal of being a VP or even a President within the company.

  1. Name one thing that you’ve had to overcome in your previous title. How did you overcome it?

The one thing that I had to overcome is when I was initially on one team and then I had to switch involuntarily to another team. I was upset because I loved the department I was in and I had a lot of emotion and feelings tied into the team. I overcame the obstacle by reminding myself that I came to this company with the mindset that I am here to build a career and give my 2 kids an example of starting from the bottom and getting to the top from hard work and dedication. I reminded myself that no matter where I am in the company and no matter what position I am, I will put forth 110% effort or more. I reminded myself that I am a go-getter and I accomplish every goal that I set and I complete every task that I am given. I have these characteristic traits from my father and I know that I will get to where I want to be without stopping.

  1. Paint a picture for us, of your ideal office space?

My ideal office space is exactly what we have here at Sutherland. We are fun and exciting, hard-working and efficient.  Most importantly, we all look at each other as family and being part of the Sutherland Global family we experience each day, every day is a good day.

  1. Is there anyone at Sutherland that you would consider a mentor? What stands out about this person and their work habits?

I would say that someone that I look up to as a mentor would be Ms. Mickie Baker, our VP. Just in the small amount of time I’ve been here, I have had nothing but a great learning experience in seeing her enthusiasm and work ethic. She has shown me the true side of the Sutherland Global company vision which is integrity, leadership, respecting our employees and valuing their contributions, valuing our clients as business partners, and of course, Entrepreneurial Spirit. I really appreciate her and the chance to get to know her and have her here to push me and encourage me and keep me motivated. Thanks Mickie!!
