Lights-Up Sutherland Philippines Career Center

By Timothy Del Rosario

Sutherland employs over 36,000 professionals across six continents. We do our best to highlight the achievements of all our employees, no matter where they are based. Today’s feature is from our Philippines location!

Sutherland Philippines Career Center in Makati City launch event entitled “Lights-Up Makati” was held last 24 July 2015 at the ACT Tower, Makati City. The newly-opened Sutherland Career Center, situated within the Makati Central Business District, aims to be a premier satellite recruitment office that sets the standard for the company’s candidate engagement facilities.

The launch event was opened by Catherine Salceda-Ileto, Sutherland’s Asia Pacific Director for Public Relations, followed by an opening remarks delivered by Rajneesh Tiwary, Service Delivery Vice President.  This was followed by a colorful lights and sounds show that caught the attention of guests and building passers-by. The dancing lights struck from the doorsteps of the building up to the skyline – a fascinating sight!  Vijayendra Nagar, Senior Director for Recruiting ended the program with a message of thanks before guests were toured inside the Sutherland Career Center.

The launch was graced by the presence of other top Sutherland leaders – among them, Shridhar Aiyer, Jean Legaspi, Shayne Murray, Raj Nair, Lani Sarmiento, Mona Veluz, Bernice Villaran — and employees who enjoyed sumptuous food and drinks, matched with great music. Also present were the IT BPM Association of the Philippines CEO and Board of Trustee Jomari Mercado and heads of the various industry organizations under the IBPAP umbrella.

The celebration at the new Sutherland Career Center was a culmination of many months of collaboration between multiple teams within Sutherland Global Services Philippines – a testament to a culture of working together to get things done.

With this newly opened Sutherland Career Center, more Filipinos may access a world of career opportunities.  Visit us today at the Ground Floor, ACT Tower Building, 135 Senator Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City.
