Ahhh Coffee…..

All you Disney haters that don’t believe in magic, guess what? Magic beans DO exist, and even better, they can be made into a potion that gives people the energy to conquer the world! Or at least seize the day in the wee morning hours or late into the night. This everyday potion is commonly called Coffee amongst the masses. And of course with such a delicate potion, there must be magicians that help create it. In this modern age, we refer to these magicians as baristas. Now these baristas have the ability to make many different versions of these potions, but none the less… they still bring the unending result of joy to the masses. Unfortunately for many, they don’t get a chance to truly respect and enjoy the power of this potion until it is truly needed. I know for myself, I didn’t truly respect this drink until college. But from the moment I sipped my very first French Vanilla Cappuccino, I was in love. Since then I’ve tasted several variations on the theme such as Black Coffee, Latte, Cappuccino, Chai, Regular, Sweetened, Frappuccino, Macchiato, Mocha, Irish Coffee, and lastly… my absolute favorite… Espresso.

Ahhh Coffee, the magical potion that gives me the energy to be productive each morning, how I love thee. There are Billions of coffee drinkers out there and they totally understand me when I say, “I cannot function without my morning Joe.” My addiction has grown so much so, that my family ended up stuffing my stocking with Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards for holidays and sneaking them into my care packages while I was in school. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to be living a few mere steps from a Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant. It was a waking dream for a college student. Surviving those countless sleepless nights, 6am track practices, and then of course work on top of that without my joe? Absolutely not! So I thank you, Coffee, you have become not only a life saver, but a trusted friend.
